Well, I've not ran any since the hotfix.. but before the hotfix I had no problems at all running black boots and gloves and sungaurds and bando's. My thin striped pants tho came out all white.
I ran the following in black with success -- high quality boots, hide boots, uniform boots, leather gloves, leather work gloves, link steel gloves, sunguards, mercenary bandoliers and multipocket bandoliers.
Oh and I was wrong.. I did a run of mercenary bando's with BE tissues.. they came out fine too.
In my experience, it's the non-black stuff, or itemsnot using the leather palettes that are having problems..but then I've only ran one item that wasn't black and not using the leather palettes. I have heard some had problems with white boots. Will try some others and see.
Schematic: Hide Boots
Only one colour choice, the extended leather palette. I sat by my factory with my crafting droid and did these runs, we were both in the game world the entire time and I unpacked the boots as soon as they were done.

This is really helpful. I think the first thing I will try to do is repeat this, but I have to figure out what palette labels you are going by. Also, did you do full runs or just a few items at a time?

currently running comfortable slacks and muscle shirts in black for an order.. checked the muscle shirts before I logged out, they were fine. Didn't check the pants yet.. going to in a bit..will let ya know Oh and I used first line black..and yes I know.. lets not get into a which is black discussion
The pants also came out fine... *shrug* this is a confusing one alright.. lol tho from the looks of another threed.. they have a fix for it on test right now.
If people would want other than black.. I'd try other colors lol

Before server reset this morning, ran 1 item in factory Rugged jacket, first line black and Dark blue trim, defaulted to orange with purple

*sigh* I'm probably not much help here.. but yet again.. most items in black..all my massive orders have been for black.. if I had a moment of free time I'd try another color for kicks...

This is what the problem has been. What works and doesn't work seems to be random and its hard to see any pattern in what makes it work one time and fail the next time!
