Hello,
We have found and resolved the issue that is causing problems with crafting and factory crates. The fix will be applied to all servers during their next scheduled maintenance cycle.
All European servers (Chimaera, FarStar and Infinity) will have their maintenance cycle with the appropriate fixes applied at 10pm CST. There will be some extended downtime to allow for applying the updates to the servers.
All US servers will have their maintenace cycle with appropriate fixes applied at 4am CST. There will be extended downtime to allow for applying the updates to the servers.
The information provided by many players helped the programmers track down the issue and find a resolution quickly. Thank you very much for providing this information. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience with today's server issues.

Valkk Armel'ya is my master tailor on Ahazi.
I ran into this problem while trying to make Trim-lined Shirts. I went to use my crate of Trim and the game did not recognize it. It didn't even show the crate in my inventory through the Crafting menu.
The crate was shown in my inventory, just not in the crafting inventory.
Had the same problem with Synthetic Cloth crates, and Metal Fasteners.
I logged off after consulting with another nearby tailor, who was having the same problem.
I even tried removing them from the crates, crafting separate components, and all. Same problem, as if they aren't compatible, and yet they are supposed to be.

I made a few clothes today, used about every kind of pre patch identical components and I had no problems. I made a low cut top, comfortable slacks, revealing fleshwrap. I haven't checked with any crates I made today though... I made 23 taming synthetic cloths today and I will check when I can, I hope they are not bugged.
BTW, I did have the problem described above with some old liquid suspension crates.

1. Are you having a problem making identical-panel items TODAY 5/12 post-patch?
yes
2. What server are you on?
/looks at name
Bria
For those of you having problems:
3. Which item was the problem?
Gunman's duster
4. What was the error message?
No error message, but UI doesn't recognize the crates of synthetic cloth (old crates) and taking cloths out of the cloth don't fix the problem.
5. What type of identical panel was causing problems (i.e. Synth, rfp, trim, etc).
synthetic cloth
6. If you are having trouble with 1 type of identical panel (i.e. synth) is another type of identical panel (i.e. trim) working correctly?metal fasteners are working (but only made items requiring 1), strangely the synthetic cloth was working for muscle shirts. I believe the difference is that in muscle shirts it does not require factory identical pieces of cloth.
