Thread: Draft Schematic #s
Anyone know where you can find the draft schematic number for schems in a crafting tool. I spent half an hour today looking for the schematic number so I could make a macro. I can't help but think that there is a real easy way to find this that i'm not seeing.
Thanks

May seem hard, but it's not to bad when you get the hang of it.
First, get very to know what you can craft with a clothing tool,
Now, go to your datapad, count left to right, top to bottom, ignoring anything you CAN NOT create with that tool. It may not give you the exact number, but will be within 5 or so. You can trial and error from there.
This works for all tools.
There is no "easy" way. It has to do with the order you attain your tiers. Sadly, it will be different for everyone.
It's very simple, just extremely... stupid. If you are using a specialized crafting tool, such as the clothing/armor one, you have to go into your datapad and manually count each item that can be made using the clothing/armor tool: 00-??. So its not difficult, but very unnesscary. I don't know why each schematic doesn't just have a set number. Drives me crazy having to count each thing indivually, espcially when I level up and get more schematics, everything seems to reset and I have to redo my macro.
I have heard that before, but when I tried counting it never added up to the item that I wanted. For example...for my usual Generic Draft Schematic tool, when I type in #1 (which based on the colums being divided alphabetically)would bringup a bone armor bicep plate. In reality, it brings upa mesh trap (one of the traps, I don't recall which one). THere seemed to be absolutely NO system for the numbers. One number down from a ribbed shirt is wookie gloves or something. Not even in the same CATEGORY. I dunno. Maybe my stuff is just screwed up...or maybe its just buggy.
Well it's already a pain to find it the first time, but I grinded to master again a few days ago, and the # for the belt was changing every day lol.
ribbed shirts have stayed consistently #53 since novice tailor. I have 3400 artisanand 0200 tailor. I counted allclothing only items, not including the armor, in my clothing tool and got 53. You also cant be *anywhere near a crafting station* or it throws the whole thing off. Also write up a mini macro to test out different numbers if your having a hard time finding the right one.
