Ok, even though it is sad that I have to preface my post with this, I will anyway. I am not a holo-tailor, I want to do it. 
From what I've read in these forums, the quality of the resources tailors use makes no difference at all in the clothing - is this correct? So, I could use OQ 1 fiberplast/hide/metal and make the same quality stuff as if I used OQ 1000?

As it currently stands (and for the foreseeable future), quality of resources used is entirely irrelevant to tailored goods.

I kinda figured actually, but the Ed McMahon impression works better with "sir."

What is a good item(s) to grind with. I'ma novice now, but I'm not sure what gives you the most bang for your buck crafting in practice mode.
