Now I know on the Tailor's top 500 bugs that need to get fixed this one will fall in about the 495 spot... but it bothers me so I wanted to mention it (and see if anyone else noticed)

So my tailor friend was nice enough to make me a very cool suit for my newfound AS uberness (i.e 12pt AS tapes ).

So I go to put on the suit and I go to put on the workman gloves last and

*you cannot equip this item*

So I try logging out and logging back in, putting them on naked, everything. I can wear them. So I think it's some sort of general bug. So I ask people all day to try these gloves on and see if they can wear them.. here's who can wear them:

Lvl 80 Twilek's, Zabraks, Rodians, Humans, and Mon Calamari (this is a vital point as you will see in a second)

Lvl 1: Twi'leks and Sulleston

Here's who can't wear them:

Lvl 1: Mon Cal.

That's it. everyone else I checked with, who's supposed to be able to wear them, can. I checked another lvl 1 Mon Cal and he couldno't wear them either. It's not just Workmans gloves.. I (a lvl 1 crafting Mon Cal) couldn't wear long leather gloves either. I can't wear any long gloves, however I CAN wear my leather work gloves.

This is a bug right? I am supposed to be able to wear these right?... anyways it's driving me nuts for no reason. I wasn't wable to test every combination of race/sex/profession but didn't have the patience/time today. Please tell me if anyone has noticed this or knows a reason for this.

I tried putting it on before i put the tapes in it... luckily i noticed the problem before i put the tapes in, and was able to put the tapes in the rest of the suit, so i guess it could be worse. Still bothersome though, cause i have a really nifty outfit

yeah i spent nearly a week trying on outfits before i picked one for my Weaponsmith Tapes.

LOL I'll make you some new ones, Yoss...If we can find some that will fit you.

So Mon Cal have to take up combat in order to wear gloves...that's sneaky devs, very sneaky!

Seems that way... well long gloves that is. I will do some more testing today.

That is very strange. I'm wondering if some tailored gloves "count" as armor (bugged, obviously) and that might be the issue.

Ok figured it out. Apparently a friend who told me his Mon Cal CL80 friend COULD wear the gloves.. didn't ACTUALLY test it. Talked to my CL 80 Friend today and he said he couldn't wear Chitin armor gloves even though he's certed for them, and I couldn't wear long tailor made gloves.

So apparently Mon Cals can't wear long gloves due to our massive forarms... lesson being: don't armwrestle a mon cal
