Thread: Easier Grind ??
why ask if you won't take the answer?
that is 'the' grind speed, resources, xp
that is the best for how it all works
which would be why it is posted as 'how to grind tailor'

So thats the Grind ?? What if I make something using Synthetic Cloth or Fiberplast Panels.
That's what is the general standard based on 1) xp per combine and 2) slots that must be clicked.
A less popular route is to do ribbed shirts to casual 3, and then do cloaks. That works okay, but only if you have a ton of hide to use (probably over 100k). Because most tailors don't have that much hide and because the cartridge belts yield roughly the same (if not better) reward, the cloak alternative is generally considered inferior.
XP is based on materials used in an item. A synthetic cloth takes only 16 units, so when combined into an item, it doesn't "count" for as much as you think it would. Surprisingly, therefore, items that are higher in the trees that are more complex to make produce less xp than a high-resource simple item such as the ribbed shirt.
Other items take more resources than a ribbed shirt or a cartridge belt, but they also have more slots (and therefore take more time). So in terms of "fast", the ones with 2-3 slots are genearlly better.
A word of warning too: items in the domestic arts line are NOT tailor items. They do not give tailor XP. Something that takes a fiberplast panel is likely an artisan item, and should be avoided if you want tailor xp.

Wow .. sorry if I upset you... It was just a question..
You did not upset me, you made me crack up
Ask how to grind, get the answer, say "thats how you grind?"
It's like the people who say "really?"
It's raining out, Really?, no of course not I like saying it's raining when there are no clouds
It's my B-day tomorrow, Really? no not really, thought I would make a new date to celebrate itevery week
the best is when they get and answer and then /bump it, like the answer will change by doing so..That slays me

The question was answered in the first response, though, in this case. There was no need to ask again.

Things become outdated. Doesn't hurt for someone to ask.
If I have a difficult question I usually post, wade through a dozen replies saying 'duh', 'noob', 'read the faq', 'moron' from people that do not know the answer but like to post saying they don't or that I'm a fool for even asking.
Then about the 12th post down I'll get the answer from someone that knows. Know where the poster 'Palpatine Triumphant' drops? Blue rug adhesive? Took 3 pages of flame posts and then I was told where they still drop at - yet nearly everyone thinks they were taken out of the game with the cu.
