A friend of mine asked me earlier to indentify some clothing on an NPC in Eisley.
Neither of us have seen the jacket before, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what it is.

Could this be a teaser of new clothing to come? Or do I just not know my trade as well as I should?

Last time I checked I wasn't one of nine "iconic" moulds. I was far more original.

Prior to Jump to Lightspeed, Tailors had several items of clothing that were in the game but uncraftable and only available via loot drop or to NPCs. They opened that artwork up to Tailors when JTL came out.

When Rage of the Wookiees came out, new clothing artwork was added for some NPCs which has not been given to the players. That jacket is one of those items. Whether they'll ever open up that artwork to player-crafted items is anyone's guess at this point.

Here's hoping they do ^^

I found the thread of other uncraftabled items of clothing, and there's some pretty cool stuff there.

Didn't they do something similar before putting BH armour in the game? Having it on NPCs first, then making it lootable afterwards.
