Thread: Wookie clothing and BE tissue/skill mod items questions

I am curious and since I know nothing about tailoring I want to be an educated consumer. I read somewhere that a wookie can stack a large amount of ranged defense items into their clothing, I think th efigure I read one guy state was like +145 or some crazy thing like that.
My questions are
1) What is the maximum ranged defense I could realisticallyhave and benefit from with the following items? Sage Hood, Wookie Smock, Sigiled Wrap, any type of wookie gloves. I think thats all the items I have.
2) with whatever that number is is it also possible to add bleed defense to it without sacrificing range defense and if so how much?
3) Are these skill mods I am looking for loot drops or bio engineered tissue?

the only thing wookies can get defenses on is shoulder pad and bandolier, we are talking like of bleed protection 4, melee 4....

hmm ok I thought it sounded fishy, after all I am sure I would have heard about it by now or at least the tailors in my PA woulda. Seems there is just no way to get around no armor handicap. Thanks for the info

the only thing Wookies can stack real high in almost all their clothing is things like active biosensors(medic tissues), entertainer bonus(myoflex), cover bonus, taming bonus.
But you'll only be able to find Tailors selling medic bonus and entertainer bonus, since the other two require mollusk and milk.
furthermore the shoulder pad can be outfitted with the other stuff and can be worn under wookie smock and or in combination with most other wookie clothing.
