Hiya! I was wondering if there is a jacket that takes two Synth Cloths... I can't find one but I keep hearing about +25 inj/wnd treatmant jackets! ARGH... Is this garment even POSSIBLE to make? Any help is appreciated. =)
Also! I was wondering if anyone here charges for making an Armorsmith or whoever else a schematic for synth cloth or RFP or whatever. Not actual crates, but just the schematic...? I was basically laughed at and mocked for asking for some credits to make schematics... Seriously though, I spent my skill points and my time to GET those schematics! And to give them away for free? For friends, yeah! But for the average armorsmith with millions of credits, no way! hehe.. oh well. That's why I haven't gotten into making mass orders of synth cloth... Anyway! Thanks for the help!!

The only conceivable +25 "jacket" that I can see would be Wookiee Battle Padding. Which technically is a "Shirt," though functionally it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, since Wookiees don't have any "jackets" per se.

Ok kinda link happy today, but this table will show and explain a bit better what can go where.
You can see on table at bottom every peice that would allow the 25+MAX ( basically any that take atleast 2 seperate slots of SC)
As for schems, well I must admit, they provide the resources, andthey do the factory running, I myself do not charge for just crafting up the schem(s).

as to the schematics, i charge for them..
cause when you make a 1000 schematic for an armorsmith, he will be in no need of a tailor for a long while, and this kinda ruinsour business..
they should buy our crates.. usually they want the 1000 schematics.. assumingly you would make20 credits benefit for each single component you would sell (in crates of course), why not charge 20k for this schematic then..
well, i don't say "that'll be xx credits for it" cause most people really think they will get them for free, but i ask if they are willing to pay something for that they won't havethe need ofa tailor in the next time.. and i had people paying me for the schematics, but i made a few for free too.. well usually AS have their own tailor friends where they get the stuff for free and only ask you if they need 'em now and not when their friend is coming on again..
they are not mocking me but flaming and abusing me.. "people like you ruin our server" and stuff like that.. well i usually answer "tailors giving schematics for free ruin our business" and add them to my ignore list

I think the jacket thing's already pretty much been answered…as to charging, I charge UnitsResource*ItemsPerSchematic—so a full SynCloth schematic would run 20000cr, a full RFP schematic would run 30000cr. Do I lose business because some people think that's rediculous? Sure. Do I care? Not really. I didn't get into tailoring to make schematics, I want to make clothes, so I'm just as happy when my prices for schematics drive them away as when they agree to pay.

- Striped Slacks / Hotpants(2 slots - 1 each)+25 Medical / 2 tissues
- Leather Trim Shirt (2 slots - 3 each) +25 Medical / 6 tissues
- Sunguard/Headwrap (2 slots - 1 and 2 pieces) +25 Medical / 3 tissues
- Robe of Honor (2 Slots - 3 each) +25 Medical / 6 tissues
Total cost = 17 tissue enhanced pieces of synth cloth in 8 slots. So long as you have +13 or better bonuses, each item will +25 and this outfit can be worn together. You get a +100 outfit. Now, for those that know our maximum is +25, mix and match. Put the Myoflex tissues in the hat, and taming tissues in the hotpants. Voila, you have an outfit that is +25 Medical, +25 Entertainer, +25 taming. You can use a Lined Workshirt to add a reinforced fiber panel in, and a bandolier to get 2 defensive clothes as well. This is not the Ultimate set of clothing.
