Thread: Master Tailor back after a long hiatus

Hi. I quit SWG back in October but have started up again during the free trial for ex-players period. I'm a master tailor and was just wondering if someone could update me on the changes that have occured to the profession since October. I know that might be a big list, but based on the rate that they were listening to tailor complaints before I left, the list might be pretty negligible. I've read the bug lists here on the board, so I really just want to know what things have been fixed.
And, just to be totally optimistic, have there been any new schmatic or color pallette additions???

Well they added to the metallic color palette a while back (don't remember exactly when) and we have new schematics coming in the next patch.

October? I think we had a BE update since then where the mods stacked again rather than wiping previous ones.
Oh also someone worked out that we can preview necklaces. Imagine that the camera is pointing at the groin of an invisible model, so the necklace is out above the field of view. Just grab in the preview window and rotate until it comes into view.

We're getting new schematics next patch? For what?
What are sales like? I know when I left there was a lot less demand for clothing as everyone was gradually getting all the clothes they wanted. Has decay on death made any difference? (I kinda doubt it.)

Anabelle (bless her heart) Got a bunch of screenshots of the new items. Chefs are undergoing a change, and they are getting profession-specific clothing. Check it all out in the above thread.

Easiest way to see the necklaces is grab the window and pull straight up.down. It was nice to finally be able to see the gem and settings change colour as I adjusted it. *Aaaah* But I would really like to see this fixed soon. it's a simple simple fix. -Z axis shift.

Whenever I pull the window straight down I can never see the fronts of the necklaces, only the backs. If I try and rotate it, the necklace just spins and gives me a constantly rotating view of... the back of the item.

I drag and push up, so it rotates backwards and you can see it in a long-shot. The gem is visible that way, but a bit small. (23" monitor helps though)
