Thread: Zabark cannot wear flared Jacket

I am a zabark and I had a question from another zabarak that bought a flared Jacket from a different vendor and could not equip it.

So I tried it and yep - the flared jacket gave me an error message and would not let me equip it.

When I get back in game I will write down the exact message and post it on the technical page - but has anyone else encountered this and are there other unknown issues with various clothing by species?

Or is this a jacket that Zabarks are not supposed to wear a flared jacket?

Well that explains it - I will have to add notes to the description when I sell them then

Does anyone have a list of what items are female only, and what items have race specifications to them?

Female zabrak can definately wear the jackets... it's purely the gender thing.

I wish the clothing items listed wear restrictions :/ there's a bunch of skirts wearable by men, but there's so few people who know this they might as well be female only. (I'm running around in a 2 tone skirt/wrap/thingy right now, kinda an egyptian pharoh look)

Yes, it would be nice to have a comprehensive list of race and gender restrictions. Two lists actually. One for intended restrictions and one for bugged items that either aren't meant to be restricted, are partially restricted in error (i.e, the recent - not all femalescould wear the GHR) and items that are missing the restriction in their description (the flared jacket). Also, some descriptions are awfully vague. "May be worn by some humanoid species with feet." Huh?

I had a male Bothan in my shop today buying shoes and a shirt tocompliment an outfit he had purchased from another tailor. She couldn't do the shade of purple he wanted. He wanted color! I suggested Women's shoes. I offered to rename them Short Boots, as I had done before for a male Human and a male Zabrak. They look like pointed-toed boots when worn with pants. He liked that idea.

He couldn't equip them. Gave him an error message. I forget the wording. I was annoyed that we couldn't match his shoes like he really wanted. We ended up compromising with a pair of all black sandals. (He was an ebony Bothan with golden hair wearing deep red, blue and purple -- I was leery, but when we were done, it looked rather stunning -- on him. Heh.)

Now, as far as I knew, only Trandoshans and Wookiees are totally restricted from wearing shoes. (Though I do have a screenshot of a Wookiee wearing a pair of High Quality Boots. Honest!) I know that females, well, at least human females can wear the men's dress shoe. But as I am a new master tailor and haven't had enough variety and number of customers yet to personally experience all the will and won't equip issues... are there other shoe restrictions that are known and tested?
