Welcome back to the Tailor profession. Funny how fate can lead you back to where you began.
To answer your question:
Yes, factories do give experience if you are near them. HOWEVER, they were changed to give only 10% of the total experience. So if you were to hand make 100 ribbed shirts you would get exps for 100 shirts. If you use a factory to make the 100 ribbed shirts, you will get exps for only 10.

Hello tailor types.. soon to be "fellow tailors"
In the first couple weeks of SWG I was a tailor, it was fun.
Then I switched servers and became the TKA/CH combo I am today...until my holocron...
Yes, yes, I know better than to post without searching and I already know what to grind when, how to macro, etc etc.
My question is related to something that is probably considered such old news there are no recent posts on the topic:
Do factories still give exp if you sit by them?
