Thread: How my love for tailoring grows by leaps and bounds
So I finally hit master tailor today. Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!
So I go get trained up and go back to my house to craft my little heart out. First thing I had all ready decided was a grand ball gown. I love that dress. Anyway. Sit down on my crafting chair, pull out my crafting tool to make myself one kick butt dress.
Ahhh..... No. Thru the wonders of the galaxies game technology I insteadcreated some new curse words and no ways of expressing frustration and anger. How I love this game.
Now I have the wonderful abilities of dom arts 1. Yes!!! What I always wanted in a tailor.
Stupid POS game.
From the people who have made master so far, I gather there is an extra step after getting the skillbox - getting you character fixed.
Yap, the game-stopping bug where people lose all their abilities after getting to master.
It didn't happen to me when I trained master, but a few other people have the exact same bug. Logging out doesn't help, but I think it was mentioned that a server crash/reset does. I hope it works out, MrSloth. ![]()
What is this I heard about armorsmithing screwing with tailoring? I've read something about it in passing a few times and was wondering what is up with that?
Besides the master tailor thing I have Ubese personal armor and technique 2 and I'm half way to padded. Please don't tell me the only way to fix it is to drop something I've put a lot of time into. ![]()
I'm scared to train master now.
Good Luck slothy. Even player a healer wasn't this bad, eh?
I do NOT want to suggest you dropa skill you already have put so much time into - obviously you should not have to do this - but in beta, some people who were armorsmiths lost crafting ability when they got Master Tailor. When they dropped armor, they could craft again.
I have brought this up here when Master Tailors have said they are bugged. Have not noticed anyone till now saying "Why yes, I do have armorcrafting too," but on another board I saw someone who said they gave up armorcrafting and it worked like a charm.
Mostly I bring it up to see if the bugged Master Tailors are also armorsmiths. Seems like knowing if this is a commonality might help lead to a fix.
