I've crafted several wookie items today and it looks like the color bug is fixed! I was able to choose the colors I wanted on tree dweller hood, patterened gloves and weighted hood.

Hehe... you happened to choose 3 items that were never effected by the bug

Try making a weighted pullover, or better yet a Travellers helm
