Well, after almost a year of Tailoring, I just did something for the first time ever. (no, i didn't craft h-tpants or winged h-wtpants). I actually made factory crates of finished clothing.
Up until last night, i always hand crafted every clothing item i ever made. despite what the general concensus is, colors other than black and red sell, so i try to keep a wide range of colors in stock.
well, someone last night ordered 4 pairs of 4-socket Black Leather gloves and 2 4-socket +16 melee/ranged black formfitting undershirts.
i lucked out while crafting the gloves. the first pair came to 4 sockets, so i thought, hey, i should make a factory run of these, and sell them on the vendor, it'll save me some trouble later when someone orders more of these. so i made a factory run of 100 pairs of "4-Socket Leather Gloves <by Teero>". and i did the same thing with the formfitting undershirts, but did a 25 item run of those.
i don't think i'll go all out and factory most of my merchandise, but it sure will be nice ot not have to waste all these tissues on getting 4 sockets.
the customer ended up ordering more BE stuff, and his total sale for 2 or 3 full suits was around 300k. when we traded, he paid me 1 mil for the order because i was such a knowledgeable Tailor.

I hand craft probably 95% of my clothing.. even most of my BE clothing is hand crafted. I like you am a firm believer in variety. I can always tell when a tailor factory runs, and I'm not knocking it. Youhave your way, I have mine...but seeingsets of 10 items all in the samecolors kind of gives you an idea... lol. I only factory run the super popular items or items I sell a great deal of. I'm glad I did that too, because my black4 socket bando's, gloves and boots tend to disappear pretty quick. It's amazing how much time that can save you knowing you don't have to try to make them when they all sell out, just go grab a crate and viola.. instant restock!
