Clothing experimentation is only used for crafting padded armor segments.

Padded armor segments are the only item we can experiment on, but it is not needed, at all.

For Tailors to have Ass/Rep/Exp tapes/outfits is more of pride of having it and hopes one day we can use it then needing and useing it now.

Give it to the Tailor and explain they may want to hold on to it until it is needed or wear it because they can now...
either way it is a gift and I have not met a Tailor yet who will turn sucha gift down.
