I have a shirt, pants, bando, and jacket all melee and ranged def totalling over +50 (yes i know +25 is the cap) but these mods arn't sticking. I took my clothes off during a fight and i was getting hit for the same amount.
Anyone know when this will be fixed?

Well you have answered your own question I think. And no, we don't know if they will fix it or when...

What I was told:
The cloths cause you to get hit less (misses). They do not show a less point hit. So if you are thinking that say you are getting hit for 500 with out the clothes, when you put the cloths on what happens is you get hit less often not less damage. Not sure if that makes sence but that is how it was explained to me. Would be nice to have a Dev conferm this![]()

Tipicaly Defense = not getting hit
Resistance = geting hit for less
So the best test is to find a fastish spawn that is not to hard fight 100 of them record all the times you got hit then strip to you skivies and do it again... unfortunatly that is about the only way to do it...
Or ask one of the crasy folk on the test center to do it, some of them like doing this sort of thing.

The terrain negotiation bio-clothes definitely work. And easy to test, provided you have a largish steep hill/cliff handy.
