Ok HDclasps andHDleather are both common looted items for Tailors to use in limited use schematics


price varies from server with most giving it away to neighborhood tailors for free to 10k a piece


I get all mine {asmost every tailor I know does, who does not get them for free} for no more then 1k a piece.


more in the set the better a tailor can use them, most destroy any below 4 in a set.

Yeah..they aren't the motherload of loot you may have been hoping for. Hehe. At one point they were all over the bazaars, and really cheap.From donations alone, I had to open another storage house for them.Now it just seems like most people just give them away. Most tailors are able to get them for free...or fairly inexpensively...but I wouldnt pay anymore than 1-2k each for them. I had someone try to sell me a stack of 6 leathers not too long ago for 100k and I just laughed. If they were really worth that much, I'd be a bizillionare.

It's not crap. They are needed, but they aren't the uber loot you're gonna sell for 3 mil on the Trade Forums. If you give them to a Tailor, you can make a new friend lol...and having a friend with the ability to make Clothing and BioClothing can be priceless. ^_^


Or you could sell them on the Bazaar. At least they're worth more than Foraged Bugs.

I'm on Infinity and I buy most of my HD leather from the Bazaar. I never pay more than about 500-700 creds per piece in a stack (so I'd expect to pay about 3000 for a stack of 6). It's very useful but also very common.
