Thats the fun of tailor either for yourself or for others when you get that look that fits its just nice.
I hate taking BE clothing orders because it takes that away for the most part as you cant be as inventive and mix and match articles of clothing. The main thing though is when it fits your customer perfectly and you see them wearing it a while later.

I'm just wondering if other tailors out there have ever made something that just made them stand back and say for lack of anything better..... WOW!
It happened to me today, after almost two years of tailoring.. kinda funny really lol.I've had several customers come in wanting clothes to match their armor, or some such thing.. usually I kinda cringe, but offer to try my best. Today tho, a frequent customer asked if I had any tan colored doctor's dresses...and I didn't, but told him I'd gladly make him one, and he said he wanted it to match something else he had, so I told him to stop by my shop and I'd see what I could do. He walks in a little bit later and is wearing a Ris Helmet.. to which my first response was, oh no.. not another match the helmet thing! As I just had a customer a week or so ago wanting an outfit to match his blacksun helmet which took a lot of work lol.. but anyways I'm rambling. I don't know why, but when he put this on.. I was just dumbstruck... it was just a major wow moment for me. I know it's not a big deal, and it's really not that amazing in the big scope of things, and I rarely toot my own horn on purpose...but it just made me realize how much I love my profession... and wondered if anyone else has had a moment like that, or has pics they want to share... maybe we could start apic thread or something hehe.
And I have to say without a doubt, I LOVE being a tailor!

I've had a few instances of 'wow'.
One was a simple suit and tie outfit for Reki'ara to wear, in white/blue. Nothing spectacular, but not a day goes by that I don't get compliments on it.
The other was actually more about an ID session than tailoring, but it had the same effect on me. I had just made Alliance Ace with Ki'ara, and she had all the wrong colors and bodyform for the Ace Jacket, but when I was done, along with gloves, boots and some colormatched striped slacks, she looked the role of an Ace.
