Thread: sockets in bandoliers?

Lately all I've been able to craft is 2 sockets in my bandos if I get any at all. Is that the max, as it's been a while since I crafted any I can't recall. Thanks for any help.

If you can get sockets in something, the max is 4 sockets. I've never seen an item able to get sockets where there was a lower than that cap. However, there is at least one bandolier (Ammo) that doesn't seem to get sockets, ever. If I'm mistaken, please correct me, as I didn't do extenstive research, just ended up looking over like 3 or so I had crafted and saw that they all had no sockets.

ammo bandolier is indeed broken and always comes out with no sockets 
the general rule is: if you need sockets, you won't get them. when you don't need them you get all 4 sockets

TRUE THAT!
No lie - When I'm asked to make BE clothing, it's all 1 socket. When asked to make clothing for merchants, it's all 4.

that's exactly why I charge extra per try for folks who insist on 4 sockets, and I have a "four sockets" vendor with pricier items (100% price increase for regular clothing, 50% for BE... although I'm tempted to raise that to 100% too )

Normal clothing, I don't fret about so much. I need SOMETHING to stock my one Ready to Wear vendor since I'm a custom order tailor. But BE clothing with 4 sockets is for my best customers. Everyone else is like 'Nupe, sorry'.
