Thread: Eyewear coming in the new expansion?

One of the new screenshots posted today says...maybe?
Definitely shows some eyewear in there. I know these are already available in the Japanese version - maybe we will finally get these now too? Hopefully they won't screw this up and make them quest rewards instead of tailor crafted items...but I'm not holding my breath.

well i dont think they will be possible for some players, mainly (as picture is trial of Obi-wan, mustafar) for those who preorder or first 500-1000 who buy it when thenew expansionis available.
I havent been to the asian servers more then trying it out.
anyway it would be cool would one get such, if it isnt something you can loot, then youll probably see someone selling them at a price (pending on how hard they are to get too, or just people who are greedy.

i seem to recall a Dev post saying that we wouldnt get goggles ever, because they were an in-game item that was packed in when you bought the special edition of SWG back in the day. Of course, the screenie shows what looks like the little piloting headband obi and anakin wore in EP3. They might be a new item that grants some kind of ranged bonus on the ground, or piloting bonus in space.

Would make for a very easy reward toadd for the DD or shop versions of the game.

The goggles in that screen shot are the reward items for buying the Japanese Special Edition, much like the goggles the English SE included. That screenie does seem to give some push to the theory that they are going to add them to the English version in the expansion, but nothing from a Dev yet.
