Greetings

Just turned master tailor with my alt, he is to supply my guild with clothes and toolkits. The guild is an imperial guild thus I am stocking imperial uniforms and pilot suits and so on. So here comes the questions.

1:Can one make credits being a tailor without be clothing?

2:Where lies the marked normally? (I have put cloaks on bazars in the most travelled cities)

3:Where are your main sellers

A quick respons would be greatly appriciated, thanx

So far in July I've averaged 112,000 credits per day on non-BE clothing - so it's possible to make a living without BE.

My top sellers for the period have been cloaks (hood up), dress slippers, tipless gloves, uniform boots, extremely revealing skirts, light bustiers and hide boots. But I find that fashions change pretty rapidly - a few months ago it was snow boots rather than hide boots and link-steel gloves were preferred over tipless gloves. Cloaks remain an old favourite tho'.

And, of course, *the* colour is black.

Thanx for the respons, got another question for you. Is it normal for tailors to use bazars for sales also? or how is that?

I used the Bazzaar just to introduce myself to the market, with my name and waypoint to my shop on the clothing I sold. But I don't really use the bazaar for a steady Sale of clothing.

I used the bazaar when I first set up in business because I was tucked away in a corner of Dantooine that saw very little passing trade. But round about last October I moved my operation to a merchant tent outside Coro and I've never looked back. On the first day I was stunned to sell 30 items (which was about twice what I'd sold in all my previous 3 months of tailoring). I carried on using the bazaar for a couple of weeks (putting my new wp on all the bazaar items) but didn't need to use it after that.

there is indeed a market out there for non-be items, even before the CU my main business was always regular clothing, I had 1 BE vendor that had at the most 30 items on it. It just may be harder to drag some of the die-hard combatants into your shop if you have no BE items.

As for the bazaar, I usually put a few items on once in a while with my shop waypoint and such.. especially when business is slow, or if I'm in a major city for some various reason. My shop is in the boonies so to speak, compared to most others, so it helps sometimes to pass the word around. I don't rely on the bazaar, but some do and have found enough success for themselves to continue to use it.
