Thread: crafting aprons w/ skill tapes?

Is it possible to buy a chef crafting apron that has +5 food exp and assembly and put a +2 food exp onto it to make it +7? I thought this was impossible but i saw an architect crafting apron with +9 structure experimentation instead of +5 and a socket taken up. Is it just a bug or can you stack skilltapes with aprons?

you cannot stack tapes with mods {crafted,BE,or other SEA} within the same itemto get higher mods,
you can however overwrite the existing mod with a higher tape
which they may have done

lol he musta felt stupid after wasting +5 experimentation points - thanks to the forums i wont be making the same mistake hehe

he probably dropped the +9 into the apron on purpose, depending on how his crafting suit is made and what species he/she is.
