I know of swgcraft and some other sites but I'm new to collecting creature resources and not sure what creatures to hunt for to get those scaley, wooly, leathery and bristley hides on each plantet.

Swg-Creatures, you can use their advanced search to pick a planet and hide type to get a list of animals that drop that particular hide.

If you want to search the other way round (cretain resource dropped by which creature)

At my homepage you can found (Under the link "Usefull Things") lists sorted by planets. So you can get a list for Dant with all creatures there and so on.
Maybe you like it also.
