I am thinking of going Master Tailor master Artisan and Master Merchant. I was wondering what you all think of that. And I was wondering if you made a decent amount of cash as Master Tailor's? Anyone have any tips for me I would greatly apprecieate it!

Thanks

Hmm, tips...

Black,4 socket items sell really well. Keep a stock of black, 4 socket boots, gloves, pants, shirts, bandoliers and you will please quite a few customers

Be consistant with colours, if you use one shade of red for a skirt, try to use the same red for a blouse/top/shoes/etc. Customers, especially female ones, like to be able to buy a matching outfit without too much hassle. And put the colour in the name of the clothing, if someone is looking for a black shirt they are more likely to click 'shirt, black' first than one of the 'shirt' 's that might be listed.

The bazaar is your friend. I used Coronet and Theed to advertise my vendor a lot when I was starting out, both with ad-clothing and putting an advert into the description of items I sold. It *really* paid off. I've been selling quite a few items on the Mos Eisley bazaar with it being newbie central and I've attacted quite a few new customers

Oh, and go to swgtailor.com. There is loads of really good information there and I honestly doubt I would have done as well as I have without it!

I am a master tailor, master artisan, master merchant.. and I do ok, I'm not getting rich, but I'm definitly comfortable. If you want fast money, tailoring is probably not the right profession heh. It can take a great deal of time to see the fruit of your labors.. and yes it often is labor Hand crafting tons of clothing can get frustrating at times.

I hardly sell any artisan items.. I keep a vendor with the basics, high quality vehicles, repair kits, crafting kits batteries etc.. they sell occasionally, but not often. I mostly have them because I can make them... I don't do PuP's because all the 14pts have cornered that market, and I can't even scrape up tapes to get 12pt heh.

As for the extra 47 skill points you have left, it's not enough to master anything.. elite or novice. I wish they'd reduce merchant sp's like they did with ID, that would rock heh

You can get 444x in an elite crafting tree, but the ones that are left (chef,AS, WS, DE, SW) all require master formax experimentation totrulymake comparitive quality items in my opinion. But I dabble with mine.. I'm pure crafting so right now I have 41xx Architect to make furniture and streetlampsand I'mthinking about getting novice DE to make droid storage compartments for vehicle paint kits. Thought about going novice shipwright to make ship texture kits but changed my mind.. heh

What I'd ultimately love to do is go back to master entertainer, which I had before the merchant changes that required you to master to have the most vendor item counts. But you can't do that with the 47 pts left over *sigh*
