First I am not a tailor, so sorry if this is a bad idea.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could have clothing items altered? think along the lines of where Shipwright REing and image design would meet, basicaly a tailor would be able to actualy tailor clothing (and possibly armor, maybe leave that to the AS prof)... have a robitic arm? can't put on your flight suit? no problem take it to a tailor pay a small fee and he will hack that sleave right off for you! or make that pair of jeans into jean shorts (jorts) for those long hot tatooinean summers.

Now some reality:

1, Clothing can only take so much abuse, altering a garment reduces it's durability 0 durability garments are equipable but not alterable.

2, you must mantain the integrity of the material, There is a finite number of things you can do to each basic type of garment... there would have to, some alterations would not realy work.

3, There needs to be a small coust in resources, pretty self explanitory.

4, No pink imperial uniforms, uniform pieces in general would be off limits to alteration.


So am I nuts?
