As my sig states, I am a master bio, but I just recently aquired the resources ot make some tailor tissues and i just did a partial run of +17 enhanced myoflex. Now, this was very costly for me to make (probably 2.5k per tissue in resource cost). I am charging 5k per tissue (125k crate). Would you guys pay this for tissues generally? More? Less?

I know server differences, just trying to get a ballpark to see if I am way off base here. Thanks alot!

looks like im going to have to get out of the tailor tissues game then. If its costing me 60k/crate to make and im selling for 70, thats not really the kind of profit margin that keeps you profitable.

These damn tailor tissue take such specific ingredients and sometimes hard to get things. The melee defense ones take 3 different creature harvested resources , so that is almost 100k in creature resources for one run. Creature resources typically go for over 20cpu, so your spending 2mil to make about 2mil .

It seems tailor tissue's are a public service rather than a business Can the dev's kick down some subsidies for me?

I make my own tissues, but enhanced myoflex and mimetic circuitry are the two tissues that I would expect to pay most for just because of the egg and mollusk requirements.

I'm willing to pay up to 100k for myoflex and mimetic circuitry, thou I've found them for sale for 80k.

most tissues i pay 50-90k a crate, depending on the type.

Lowca has next to no Master Bio-engineers around (i lucked out, and have very good friends with the only well established BE on lowca).

I end up paying anywhere from 5k - 10k per tissue, so 125k - 250k per crate. I can then turn around and easily sell a +4 melee defense +18 def. vs. stun formfitting undershirt for 20k.

Now other servers might have more Master BE's, but lowca is a severly under-populated server at times, and so it's hard to find a reliable BE. and for anyone Lowca tailors out there, the BE i'm talking about is Peragrin, though i'm sure if you're a Lowca tailor you already know all about this purple wookiee's tissues.

I have to be honest I haven't purchaced any of the BE tissues I have - i've enherited them all from people who dropped Tailor or quit game completely. If these prices hold true on my server as well, I honestly would not be able to ever purchace BE tissues at all, because nobody will pay ME that much for the clothing items for ME to make a profit. The only BE items that sell regularly for me ATM are +25injury/wound treatment items which i sell for $25k. But i'm thinking with the CU these will be much less usefull and I won't be making much BE clothes at all.

oh, and stupid question - what is memetic circuitry tissue? i've never heard of that one, or i'm having a major brain fart.

memetic circuitry gives you a bonus to cover. cover is a Rifle ability that allows you to go prone, and fire off several shots on NPCs and creatures before they are able to find you.

it is similar to the rifleman /concealshot ability, but cover is granted in the Marksman rifle boxes, and is not as effective at hiding from enemies than /concealshot is.

On Corbantis I have a BE working with me and he gives me the crates and I sell the slothing and we split the sale of the clothing items 50-50. He might drop off 10 crates of a tissue then i'll throw him the cash from the last batch of sales. It's so hard to figure out what each of our costs is for that stuff, this way we both make money.
