So I was trying some different clothes together, and I found out that you cannot wear a cloak with a long dress.
What would be the repercussions of changing one piece dresses to use the shirt equipment spot so you can use them with coats and jackets? Any downsides?
Also, what other tweaks would be approreate for clothing so that you can wear things you want together?
This can't be worn together.

Wow, no wonder I missed it. That post is five miles long. Still, my compliments to the former corr for putting that much effort into it.

Thanks!
I believe that there is a portion in the FAQ about what can be worn with what. The FAQ is rather long, so the best way is to use the "find" feature on your browser. You can type in a keyword there. In this case, since you know dresses and cloaks do not play nice, you might type in "dress" or "cloak" or even "jacket" and see if it's there. It shouldn't be more than a few hits before you find the answer you're looking for.
If I inadvertently left it out, please let me know. I continue to update the FAQ when new stuff comes along, but it's entirely possible that I left out something important in the first place!

Surely someone else has some combination of clothes that can't be worn together?
Another example that came to me is that jumpsuits and flightsuit style items seem to count as both a shirt and pants, which makes changing clothes without a macro akward for the prudish. If they would be altered to just be pants, I could put a shirt on and then change the flightsuit out for a pair of pants and not be topless or *gasp* bottomless.
Alternativly, changing the flightsuits to register as a shirt would allow me to wear one underneath my armor. I have no real preference in that regard.
