Due to problems with the publish on August 6th we will be re-publishing the hot fix to all servers on August 7th, 2005 at 4:00 AM PDT.
Hot Fix Update
August 7th, 2005
Combat
* Group experience points (XP) will now be available only to players in a group.
Profession: Armorsmith
* Armor pulled from factory crates will retain its color.
Profession: Tailor
* Clothing pulled from factory crates will retain its color.
* Full color palettes used in Tailor customizations will now be available.
* Bio Engineered tissue modifiers will now be applied during the crafting process.
Quests
* The “Secrets of the Syren” mercenary leader will now spawn correctly.
Travel
* Shuttle ticket droids will display the proper arrival time.
World
* Improved world lighting and shadows.
Tiggs
SWG - Director of Community Relations
Do Not Meddle in the Affairs of Dragons, For Thou Art Crunchy and Go Well With Ketchup!

my only complaint is they waited so long to say "oops we messed up".
It's not hard to do... and it would of saved them a lot of trouble....and a lot of frustration from annoyed people.

In line with Ani's suggestion in another thread I suggest we use this thread to report our findings after today's hotfix.
It would be really useful to keep discussion to a single thread that everyone could refer to.
What do folks think?

Yeah it's working, but has anyone actually figured out what the colour thing is all about? As far as I can see; the palettes are the same as always...

I think it might be a fix for the missing palettes that non-maters (and masters for 4 color items) had.

The Master 4 colour problem is still there (checked out the Reinforced Pullover problem and it still has just the 3 palettes rather than 4). So it's not that. Can't find any palette difference at all as yet.
