Thread: No full colored palettes....

on anything I checked. No palettes for missing colors. The only thing I noticed regarding colors....is just that the full white palettes were removed. Yay. As important as the BE issue is to the game, and pretty much everything...I was hoping they would have done something useful with the palettes. Unless they still didn't get all the code across, they could have left the teasing misleading remarks off the patch notes and just stealthed the change.

I am curious whether the secondary palette is once again customizable for non-masters. I'm hoping that it is!

I didn't find any full color palettes on anything I made on August 6 either, and I am a Master Tailor. One Ithorian customer I have who was jumping for joy because she wanted some red clothing was quite disappointed when I made a few things to test them out and found none of the 6 things I made had full color palettes(and no red in what she wanted). In fact, one of the items I can quite clearly state had less than 100 available colors for both parts that could be colored("racing gear" hat). If memory serves, there were just 84 color options for each of the 2 parts. *sigh*


I am hoping to login tonight and find this has changed.

ithorian racing gear does not have a full pallette, only extendedleather


i would suggest checking your ingame choices for items against TK fashion choices before stateing color pallette is gone or missing


currently the bug is


non master tailor loose the abilty for secondary colot options on items, and master have lost the fourth on the pullover


besides that one, leather pallette is missing at least one block of color, green one at end


I have seen no other color changes that effect us beyond that.

Now, please don't take this as being crabby(since it is not how it is intended). When I see in the publish notes(and I quote):


Profession: Tailor


  • Clothing pulled from factory crates will retain its color.
  • Full color palettes used in Tailor customizations will now be available.
  • Bio Engineered tissue modifiers will now be applied during the crafting process.

    • ....it says to me that all 256 colors will be available for use by Tailors.


    Maybe that's just me, but I have 4 non-SWG-playing people here at my house who just came over and I asked them to just read the sentence and tell me what they thought, and all 4 thought it meant "when tailors customize clothes for customers, they'll have a full range of colors tochoosefrom."

    like I had posted before things I think it could have meant




    Full pallette on it all


    the just removed broken double white pallette, gets readded


    missing second and fouth pallettes {recent problem} fixed


    general statement meaning color picked for schem sticks



    the full pallette could mean the entire line of what is availble for that item


    as easily as it is taken to meant the full color pallette



    since colors are not sticking in crates who knows if the line in question has to do with anything

    Ani'Cul: Try using your mousewheel to scroll down in palettes that seem to miss some colors at the end.. That seemed to reveal the missing colors on some items for me.

    no no this is not a line of color missing it is one color block,


    extended leather pallette the last green..basically leather is in sets of four..the last set only has three


    that is what is refered to
