Thread: I hate grinding
So do I, but I gave up and had to do it. I fought and fought and fought against it, but I couldn't hold out any more. Before they nerfed surveying missions, I piled up about 225kcr in cash. This week I turned nearly all of it into hides, scrounged from every supplier I could find and every bazaar on the Kettemoor server, and ground my way up most of the way. Now it's just a matter of saving up a little more cash, and waiting for Resource Turnover Day to be done on Rori/Kettemoor (uggh), so I can finish the job for a little cheaper grinding cartridge belts.
But for the love of God and all that's holy. My customers are slightly happier, but I'm miserable. Grinding is mind-numbing. It'll be days before I can actually stand the idea of making clothes again. And, of course, having bypassed three whole skill boxes without selling (or even making) anything in them, I have no idea what to sell or how to sell it from those skill boxes. I can easily imagine, now, someone getting a bunch of money and grinding his way all the way from Novice Artisan to Master Tailor in a week or two. But if they did so, I can easily see why they'd quit the game the same day. *shudder*
