I finally found reference to Tailors...in the Star Wars episode of the Muppet Show!
Dirth Nader (Gonzo) says to Luke (Mark Hamill) :
"Wow, great clothes. Who's your tailor?"
Of course, I instantly thought of all you wonderful people who keep us all looking spiffy and Star Warsy.
So pick up the new "best of" Muppet DVD with the Star Wars episode, and know that you pre-date Episode V, VI, I, and II when it comes to Star Wars continuity.

Not sure what the exact air date was (1980), but Luke has his Bespin fatigues on
