I haven't tried yet, but I just created a schematic for a Rugged Jacket. I have all the components in factory crates or in large stacks, but the schematic that was created is white (colorless) as opposed to the maroon that I made it. Does this mean that I can't use my factories to produce clothing items?

The schematic will be colorless, but the jackets will turn out whatever color you made it. All will be identical (same color).
