Hi y'all. Remember a ways back when we first heard about Wookiees losing their hands? If they wore a smock and any kind of gloves, their hands disappeared. If they equipped a weapon, their hands reappeared.
Well, I was messing around with one of my Wookiee vendors last night and discovered the Chef's Apron causes it too. Kind of strange I thought as the Smock is in the robe category and the Chef's apron is in the jacket category (whereas the Wookiee unwearable Crafter's Arpon is in the vest categroy). Stranger still was that with the Chef Apron, only some gloves made the hands disappear.
Patterned gloves work, but clip with the sleeves. So I tried arm wraps. Hands vanished.
As I was also trying to figure out what to put on him that would remove the hide jerkin which was also clipping with the apron, and the decorative wrap he had on, which also clipped, and the simple wrap, which also clipped... I ran out of time before server reset and did not get to test any of the other glove styles yet.
I did discover that putting on a heavy shoulder pad unequipped the jerkin, did not unequip the apron, yet also did not equip the shoulder pad. The jerkin and padboth disappeared. *blink*
I never did figure out how to get rid of a wrap. Tried a smock. Didn't work. Clothes were still on under it. If you want your Wookiee vendor to wear a Chef's Apron, better off to start with a naked Wookiee. If there is a way to unequip a waist wrap, please explain how!
Anyway, I am not sure this happens on a player like it does on a vendor. I know I can wear some clothing that does not have any graphical glitches, but if I drop it as a display, or put it on a vendor, it sometimes does.
I have a spare vendor open right now, so I am going to make me a nice Wookiee (a patient one who stands still and doesn't go /afk or run off with a /wave and a /brb) and run through some more gloves on, gloves off tests. And what will go over the Apron or not. And maybe how to get rid of a waist wrap. And maybe find out where the shoulder pad went. *looks in the parallel universe behind the dryer where that other sock always goes*
Once I've done that, I shall seek out a player Wookiee who has the patience of Job, or one that will accept a hefty bribe to stand still and let me dress and undress him all night long. And see if the same glitches happen on both a PC and a vendor.
P.S. The Chef cap and Master's Hat color bleed like the Councilman's Robe does. No matter what leather palette color you choose, the main color bleeds into it, making the second color choice almost null.

I'm not entirely sure the 2nd color is supposed to be the trim. If you look at the back of the cap - thru the lattice work which stays black always - you'll see your second color. I know it affects the trim on the sides just a bit - but not very much.
