Thread: Putting skill tapes on Crafting Aprons
Not right now.. and not at all if they do not fix SEA's. At current they are bugged.. I won't go into all aspects but if you use a tape that has the same stat on an item, one will cancel out and only the higher stat will apply.
Example:
MedApron: +5 med assembly
Tape: +3 med assembly...... The tape will be used, a slot will be lost but the stats will remain only +5.
Tape +6 med assembly...... The tape will be used, a slot will be lost... the stats will be +6 only.

I actually sold some grenadier's belts because of this today. Someone had skilltapes that were +3 grenade experimenation and +3 or +2 something useful. They bought the belts so they could put the skilltapes in and get the useful stats out of them. It is the first useful thing I have seen to do with those belts (and it got rid of some single clasps which were clogging upour inventory too!).
