Why not hotfix now?
I am going to be ungreatful since i'm paying for this game and i've been getting pretty poor service from it.
Why the delay in implementation of this hotfix.
Of course i'll be the one with egg alllll over my face when it's deployed Friday
Is that like some sort of a matter, anti-matter reaction?
Or would it be more like haveing a time traveling person from the future meeting himself in the past?
Whichever, it doesn't sound pleasant!

i'm wondering if this will fix data that's already done. I.E.I recently had a set of RIS built for me that included peko peko appearence segments in every single piece. Now as I understand it, that would be a lot of health bonus. Will fixing the data transfer bug reset all the items that were already made, or will it only affect items made after the fix?
It's not a huge issue, but I know a lot of people used heath enhancers assuming that when they were fixed, it would also be retroactive. I'm just hoping that this is the case.

It turns out that "collecting a list of systems impacted by this change" is an impossibly large task: By the time I finished doing it, you'd already know.
So make sure if you're a programmer to document your code! And make sure the people using your fuctions know what types the input and output variables are declared as.
It would also be a good idea to find out who else has been using this function, as they may have been getting back the right type, but now fixing/changing it might effect the results they're recieving.
Sorry Tailors, I don't think my post is very fitting for your forum.

Besides, we haven't tested it yet! What would happen if they put the hotfix in and we suddenly couldn't make hawtpants?

Anything but that!
What would happen if you brought a pair of hawtpants in contact with a pair of camos? Would that cause an explosion too? Hmmmm....

In certain cases some types of crafting data was being "lost" in the process: and this impacts the armorsmiths and tailoring the most (but I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been causing a few other oddball crafting problems here and there as well).
We're planning on a hotfix to be delivered to you between publish 21 and publish 22.
JFreeman.. cudos man.. This is what we as the community need to see more of and thats a DEV acknowledging there is a problem and you are working on it. I know the DEVS are busy with all sorts of things within the game but you will find more people cooperating if there was just more acknowledgement from DEVS

Of course this happens the day after I add this bug to the FAQ so I'll just have to change it back. Maybe I should have updated the FAQ sooner.

the Camo would build a campfire and throw the hawtpants in it to truly make them HOTpants

From the sounds of the last post it almost gave me the impression the this has the potential to fix a LOT. Health bonuses to armor and bio-engineered clothing perhaps?
