I am not sure if there has been a post of this but we need to be able to make clothing for Jedi use only. A way to do this is add a few slots that let you add armorsmith layers to clothing. Just a thought. Of course only Jedi could wear these items.

Actually, I'm really against "jedi only" clothing because a lot of the styles some of the jedi want to only be wearable by them are things (such as hood up robes) are things that my customers have been asking me for since release. I think it would be really unfair to finally add some great new clothes into the game but have them only be usable by one tiny group. In my opinion, Jedi already get enough special treatment and take up enough dev time...

Plus anyone seen wearing jedi-only clothes would be an instant target and a lot more noticable, which is completely contrary to the "jedi in hiding" concept. A better solution would be to give the same new styles to everyone and to create some kind of components that jedis can earn through missions, that helps their skills and can be dropped into a slot just like a SEA.

I don't like the idea of making any new clothing only wearable by one specific profession (even if it's designed for them like the chef clothes) because it's kind of elitist. And as tailors, it would tie our hands creatively because we wouldn't be able to mix and match new items into great outfits for everyone.

I also think most tailors wouldn't regularly stock profession only items (especially jedi-only ones, considering how few Jedi there are on each server) because there wouldn't be much profit in such a limited use piece of clothing. I know I'd only make that kind of thing to custom order just based on how big a pain it would be to have customers constantly buying pieces they couldn't wear because they weren't the right profession for it.

SWATCH COLORS!! Please, please please add the feature where I can hover over a color and it tells me some sort of clue what color it is! I am color blind to certain colors and tailoring is currently extremely difficult for me.

Great Idea Vandessa.

great..now we're going to encourage cross-dressers in SWG. Try going to North Hollywood or San Francisco if that's what you're into

I am not a tailor but I would also like to see more clothing options taken from the EU. Include things from Knights of the Old Republic, Tales of the Jedi, etc. I just feel like there is a lack of options available. It gets a little boring seeing everyone wearing the same outfit IMO. Same with armor...

I just sat in the med center getting healed after taking serious wounds from sampling radioactive (yes I knew it would hurt lol) and while the Doc was working on me, he was telling me why he was wearing a chef hat. He wore it when he was being a Doc instead of a Smuggler. Then he wished there was a hat similar to it with a red cross on it, to denote a medic. And a shirt, tunic, jacket, robe, too, with a red cross. He asked me to post this request on the tailor forum wish list. So here it is.
