Thread: Tailor Macro
The grind isn't bad. Just set up a macro with 8 tools, make ribbed shirts (practice mode of course) until you get FW 4. Then switch to cartridge belts 'til you get all the exp you need for master. I am sorry to see so many other holo hunters were sent down this path. It seems like an interesting profession, but I fear I'll be leaving it before I get to enjoy it. /rude holo's
Having done the Investigation grind to get MBH for a previous holo, I can assure folks that those who are working towards their FS slots are anything but lazy. I just hope the last one doesn't tell me to master architect after everything else I had to do already.
BTW if you ARE next to a crafting station the macro can be slightly edited to work- all you have to do is add an extra:
/next;
in where the other two are.
Showing some respect for a profession will go a long way to make people want tohelp you. Showing respect includes searching for posts on the same topic before asking a question, and it also includes refraining from including personal negative opinions about the profession in question. Don't be surprised that members of the community are irate when posters do not show respect.

Err I mean - double clicking on the resources will do it instead of dragging them. But no, you can't master tailoring while taking a nap.
Awww, don't hate on the macroers. I macroed to Master Tailor, and I'm never giving up Tailoring - ever. I'm a hardcore, clothes-loving, typical Master Tailor. So I macro'd my way up, so? I didn't do it for the schematics. People love the variety of clothes that even a 2-2-2-2 tailor can give them. I wanted COLORS! I hated that I couldn't make red till Master. For that reason alone, I macro-grinded to Master. I'd have just made clothes for sale as I went, but bah! I want red and orange! And I want it now!

There's a flaw in this macro. The end of it keeps getting deleted after so many minutes of being idle or after logging. I'm not sure why, but I believe that there must be a text limit in macros and that this macro must exceed the limit.
