Thread: Mira's TC Corbantis Testing

Alright, just finished reading this thread. Got some comments and questions. First thing was the chat box disappearing, and mine did this too. Ctrl+Enter put it back again.


Now about our titles...






How will the existing titles on my character window be affected?


Veterans will maintain the ability to display any title they have earned over their SWG career. New characters that enter the galaxy will only have access to the titles supported by the nine new iconic professions.





I think this needs to be addressed, since it is clearly stated by Tiggs that we will be able to keep and display ALL titles that we have ever gotten, not just our CURRENT titles. I was planning on using my token respec to get CL80 before the NGE so if I ever want to do combat, I will be able to without having to grind the whole thing; but I still want to keep my Master Tailor title, which I was under the impression I could do.


Are Rank Sashes or Desert Crawlers still bugged? Are the general pallette problems still bugged? I'm guessing so, can't expect them to actually do something for us for a change. You know, if it's been in development for a looong time, why is it that crafters get nothing but bugs,yet there's tons and tons of new special things for combat professions? I mean, come on, at least give us the schems to the noob clothes.. that's just sad. (Note: We do receive some things, but...)


You get some special new items in all the trees as you progress. I doubt they're anything too special, but I'm interested in what a "Merchant's Friend" is. And a portable speaker system? Tiggs said that we will not be receiving these items when we respec, on the grounds that "we will be far beyond the need of those items", or something like that. However, unlike the combat professions, we don't grow out of mods or tools for our professions. Did you receive these items? If not, I think that's something we should DEFINITELY push to have addressed. Those are the only new things we've been given, it's our right to get them, isn't it?

Yeah, we could use the quest rewards Artisan/Traders get all the way to Master. For example, look at the Artisan Bracelet. Artisan Assembly +2. Will that add to the total artisan assembly points we get at master or not? If it does, that will put anyone whois an Artisan/Traderpost NGE at an advantage over masters who were pre NGE.

I hope not. But there's also an artisan assembly +5 crafting tool you get, which is a total of +7 right there. That would cost me millions as it is. Suffice to say I want those items and deserve them as much as, if not more than, the new players.

Desert Crawlers got fixed at the same time Rank Sashes broke, to my knowledge. I will test the Rank Sashes out, along with any of the other things on our bug list that I can test.

The palette resizing bug that makes colors disappear off the screen is still there.

No I did not.

I will be pushing for this as well.

Nope, just logged in. And, joy of joys, I'm away from my shop again.


Since I'm in my old town, I'm going to test cantinas first. Since Chefs could place cantinas pre-NGE, I'm going to see if DGTs (that's my new abbreviation) can place them.

Just so I am clear in regards to BE tissue. You ARE able to craft using them? Its just that the same old stats are there right? Thanks

Well that was lovely. I've encountered a problematic bug. I couldn't access the elevator terminal. I logged into the bottom floor of my friend's bunker, and I had to use the /eject command to get out.

I've tested this on TC2 and Combat types can drop and use harvies. They can also use survey tools in the most basic mode.

Speaking of options it is bothering the heck out of me that I can't figure out how to pull down the toolbar for the 2nd row ((anyone out there figure that one out?))...I just gottahave that extra row of keys...hehe
