How about displaying the hex code for clothing coloring, or any reference code? It's tough to communicate exactly which color you want, especially over tells.

Half the time I'm sitting 2" from my screen trying to color match an examine window to a customization window.

Some Image Design code might help a lot, maybe share the customization screen with the customer, or even let them pick their own colors?

Many of the text descriptions of clothes refer to similar subcomponents, others to factory crated components (lack of agreement on terminology)

BE clothing requires tissues that are tough to come by, and for factory components, you have to burn at least one to make the spec. Would help a lot if creating a manufacturing schematic also resulted in one prototype item with a matching serial number to those that come out crated. Lots of chance for failures too (BE craft, subcomponent craft, final component craft)

Clothing experimentation clothing attachments still exist, although clothing experimentation does not.

  • Robe of Honor - you pick trim and chest color and the main body (90% of the robe)is a color bleed between them. Try to make a rich royal blue robe with gold trimand see what you get.

  • Sunshade - comes only in earthtones. I have many customers who want to get a red to match the rest of their outfit, but I can't accomodate them.

  • Not many choices for headgear in male Non-Wookiee or Twi'Lek toons.

  • Short sleeve jacket doesn't work with many pairs of gloves (apparently they bothtry to equipsleeves)

  • Rings - Need more styles. Customers often want separate engagement and wedding bands, and very often want one or both gemmed.

  • Hooded Cloak - hood up. Has to be one of the most requested clothing items.

  • Satchels - Loot only, cannot be crafted.

  • Cargo Pockets - Loot version holds 20 items, tailor version is only a subcomponent

New Schematic Requests:

  • Holsters

  • More hats.

  • More rings.

  • Mount Saddles = Tailor items

  • Saddlebags (+20 storage compartment on a mount)

  • Eyewear - Goggles, sunglasses, eyeglasses, monicles

  • Capes

  • Cloaks that go over armor

  • Male swimwear (hotpants = speedos = yuck)

  • Cold weather gear to go with Hoth (if included in the SE)

  • Factional tailor schematics for uniforms (of both sides) - I am a Uniform Marshall, right?

  • Uniforms for different ranks.

  • Tropy jewlry - Rancor Tooth Necklace, etc.

Bikini leggings stick together at the ankles now and then, forming this odd, stretchy "bridge" type thing as someone put it. Very weird and annoying.

Hotpants, sometimes the hips show through on the sides.

I think a way to distinguish colors would be nice, have them labeled or something, or a way to find out what color was used. Perhaps a "Match Color" option? When you're making an item, can select something in your inventory, and if it uses the same color in the pallet, it'll automatically match it? I think that would be cool.

Another "Issue" so to speak, would be items using the same pallet, but when you choose the same color, it comes out in different shades. More specifically, it's annoying when trying to exactly match shirts and jackets with pants. You'll get this beautiful shade on one, and when you pick the same color on the other, it comes out an odd shade. And, being one who's incredibly picky with matching, it's a slight nuisance.

I think, too, that it'd be nice for all items to use just one pallet. Then you can choose the type of colortones you want, if you want the leather pallet or metallic pallet, etc. It'd give item colorization a lot more variety, along with a lot more combos. It makes sense that you could make the same time of clothing with different materials and such, or with any sort of color, so I just think having the broad pallet like that would be cool. Maybe make it a Master Tailor pallet or box four in the experimentation tree. I'd love to see that. ^.^

What I've seen in Scylla to be the most commonly expressedhigh wishes over the course of the last 8 months: (we talk a LOT about clothes in cantinas and starports heheh)

Color Palette: a true yellow and true hot pink on the master color palette

Headwear: more choices, lacy or jewelry like head scarves and veils for human and Zabrak women, and full palette on sunguards, also, there is no reason why Twi'leks should not be able to wear sunguards, turbans, warm hats and decorative headdressesif we can wear composite and Ubese armor helms because none of those block the lekku as much as armor would, male Twi'leks need to not have white skull cap, make black and white lekku wraps appear black and white, increased color palette on Twi'lek headgear

Jewelry: armbands, earrings, jeweled headbands, anklets, belly jewels and the ability to make bracelets go on one wrist or the other in the crafting process, label the color choice windows as gem and metal, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE the necklace art, it's been gone for good since early July, Wookiee enabled jewelry

Handwear: smoother long uniform gloves that aren't bulky at the wrist and have no texturizing so that they match colors of dresses more exactly, full master palette on tipless and link-steel gloves since women often need short gloves as well, more "finger" showing on tipless gloves, some pair of gloves that can take BE enhancement, armwrapsor gauntlets of some sort kind of like Ubese armor bracers

Footwear: full color palette on sandals and uniform boots, full color thigh boots are requested a Lot, most all shoes make the feet look super big, sandals that have straps up the lower leg, some pair of boots such as sturdy that can take BE enhancement

Accessories: bandoliers and packs to not conflict, bandoliers and belts to be more formfitting, belts to go under jackets, tech pack to have sockets (common request from medical professionals)

Coats: capes, cloaks with hoods up, full color palette dusters or at least some form of blue, the pocketed vest for new players to be craftable

Shirts: trim color modifiable on trim lined shirts and light bustiers in at the least black and white, texture on small bustiers needs to be changed so that it doesn't "dirty" the color, full color palette on low-cut tops and metal bikinis, increased colors on revealing bikinis, a lot of men want some shirts that don't tuck in

Dresses/Bodysuits: full master palette on exotic leotards, put exotic leotards with the other bodysuits in the crafting tool, full master palette on luxurious gowns, cloaked dresses and doctor's dresses both parts, fuller skirted ball gown

Pants/Skirts: the Leia Return of the Jedi skirt to be craftable, craftable full palette boxer shorts, fuller bodied full length skirts, pants that don't cling to the legs and crotch for men, hot pants to have truer color similar to shorts (less texturing, same problem as small bustier)

Wookiee clothing: more selection, more colors, ribbons, feathers or ties for fur or other tribal type adornments

I've been accumulating these observations for a while heheh :-)
