Thread: Patch 8: Problems, comments, put it all here
As for wastage of claps.. I have two DE schems so if I didn't do factory runs this equal 6 tool belts.. with factory runsand the ammount of claspsI have,Iget 9 toolbeltsper schematic so that's 18 in total..I wasted quite a few clasps though
but the fact that I can lootclaps quite easily myself combined with how rare the actual schematics are outweighs the wasteagefor me
Ah. I didn't read the whole thing—I was still laughing too hard from the whole experience.

Not exactly tailor-related, but since I discovered this because n'Jessi made me lick a stormtrooper…the "pay fine" popup triggered when using an emote on a stormtrooper lists the fine as 5000 credits. The actual amount deducted and the system message reflect 6500. Probably just a typo in the popup, but it bears mentioning.
I tried it today and it turns out that this is how it is meant to be. The stormtroopers are corrupt and after they take your fine they say something like, "it looks like you have the money. You wouldn't mind if I took an extra bonus. I thought not!" and then they take extra money from you.
Boy am I glad I am a colonel in the imperial army.
I can lick, slap, and tickle all the storm troopers I want and they accually appologize to me and say they willnever fail me again,or they say "roger that". It is the funniest darn thing to do in front of a rebel to see if they will try to one up you and end up getting smacked and fined.
Silly rebels, what are they thinking opposing the empire. Darn terrorists.
It was worth buying and earning the faction to get up to that rank. I just wish it showed our rank if we wanted it to, and I wish we could wear that darn hat. The uniform is stupid looking without it.
BTW, the droid bandolierschematic works fine with a or b toolkits. My DE said the minerals for C and D are really rare and he didn't have them so I didn't get to try them out.
I also want to complain about the starport 10 minute wait. Why did they leave that the same. On most out planets the starport is the shuttleport. This totally blows.

I agree. It is quite rare for me to make an item directly from the 3-use schematic. In my situation (30+ clasps and 40+ leathers), it is a lot more effective to make a manufacturing schematic and factory run the items. You only get 2 or 3 typically, but that 2 or 3 times more than you would normally get! Yes you waste quite a few clasps/leathers this way, but those are easier to replace than the schematics in my experience.

And I didn't get a chance to run the other tests tonight…first a weird wound bug, then a run through the Corvette with my guild. Busy night.
Be careful with Faction pets too, because they are doing this as well. Nesh and Ell' made me lickEll's storm commando He beat me up and fined me 10k while they laughed at me.

Anyone tried doing this with no credits on them or in the bank? Curious what they do then
They say something like, "I thought scum like you wouldn't have any money. Do you think the Empire is your personal bank account? When you finally get some money hail a storm trooper." and you get a message saying that you owe a certain amount to the Empire. It will keep adding up each time you get more of a fine. I still don't know if you have to pay it back, or if a storm trooper will come up to you and demand that you pay back whatever you have. I racked up about 50k in fines with my newbie character. I hope I don't have to pay it back because I want to get her out of those silly desert crawlers and into some new clothes (which is all I wanted in the first place when I decided to /bonk an ST as I was walking by).

I haven't tried it but I heard that they take the money when you get it, kind of like on credit.
