Mad Max nothing. Have you played the Jedi Academy game? In that game one of the cut scenes has Han Solo and HE is wearing a SHOULDER PAD.

I'd like a holster that you can put on your back for a rifle (or a sword). That'd be cool, although I'd use it more to be assasain like.

I am a soon to be master tailor on Gorath, and I am a master smuggler on Eclipse.

Just to toss to let you guys know, I have talked to a couple of other smugglers and we agree that we have absolutely no desire to look like pirates. Smuggler does not equal Pirate.

Smugglers are supposed to hide in dark corners, plying the illegal trades and moving contraband about for people with less than perfect moral values. We don't want to be noticed. We want to be dark and indescript people.

It would be terribly hard to go about our business without attracting attention if we were all gussied up like some pirate that just walked down the gangplank wearing earrings and patches and fluffy shirts.

And don't worry, knowing the devs, I realize that all these things would never happen anyhow. But why don't we actually suggest things that WOULD be appropriate for smugglers to wear?

Some of the pictures may appear odd, seems the uploading had some issues and distorted a few pictures, ill repair that as I can.

Just remember although lots of smugglers want to hide, there are people like Lando that are smuggler/merchants and do like to stand out.

I actually have had many smugglers after me in game asking for pirate type clothes. I get a pirate-style request from a smuggler customer almost once a week. So I'm betting a lot of folks suggesting pirate styles have had the same experience. I'm sorry some of the folks you've talked to think they're not as appropriate as some other styles, but we have had many requests for them. If you disagree, throw out some suggestions of your own instead of just criticizing the current list. The whole point of this thread is to get as many suggestions as possible.

The tailor wishlist type threads always wind up with tons of unrealistic suggestions in them, it's basically just brainstorming. But most of what we wind up posting in the wishlist threads are common requests from customers.

If your looking for the Pirate look i would say look at the recent movie Pirate of the Carbiean and look at Johnny D's character.

And also look at the other smuggler in the SWU that being Lando

Personally i would to see Waist Sashes, the gun belt w/holster, bandana, and earrings
