Thread: Tailor Inspirations
Sockets... sockets are a whole nother ball o wax... what's the main reason we all want 4 sockets on everything? Because at one time, Master Tailors with Artisan Engineering 4 *always* got 4 sockets, and the CUSTOMERS got used to that, it was perceived as a mark of a good tailor (since at that time we couldn't experiment on anything).
Personally, I get a lil irritated when I am approached by a customer who says "Oh, and make that entire outfit with 4 sockets in each piece".. as if it was something I controlled.
IMO - 3 and 4 sockets should be guaranteed to a Master Tailor who has Artisan Engineering 4 or Artisan Master. However... since the devs are not going to be that generous...
4 sockets *guaranteed* from Inspiration buffs would work for me. At least I could get crates of the more popular items made up with 4 sockets - assuming crated items are ever fixed....
but another question nags at me... why oh why are they trying to affect crafting professions with Entertainer? Are the cantinas empty? I personally avoid cantinas because there is so much spam I miss tells and people asking me in /say to make an order (and yes.. I have my name color coded, as well as my tells in another color) It streams by so fast...

In a word, yes.
In a few more words ... went into Coro Cantina (Infinity) a couple of hours ago and there were 2 entertainers. That's all, just 2, and they were grinding jedi (I think). All my old ent friends have gone.![]()

I agree with the sockets idea. I'd be more than happy to go to an ent for a buff if it improved my chance of getting 4 sockets (although I wouldn't want it to guarantee 4 sockets).
How about if an ent buff occasionally you gave you a bonus of a 5 socket item (now that SEAs apply all their stats)?
I strongly agree with those who say "more colours but NOT buff dependent".
Mind you, if the devs are looking to improve things maybe we could ask them to fix the colour palettes when buffed. You know, something along the lines of, "Affected by his Inspiration Buff, Gawgax suddenly finds that all his colours are easily viewable and don't migrate south for the session".
...... Only kidding guys ... I know this is a pain in the bum bug ... but it sometimes seems easier to get something new added than to get a bug fixed!

Actually, I do a really good trade in jewellery. I find that most people who come in to buy an outfit leave with accompanying baubles, bangles and beads. But I agree that sockets would be a nice addition (and if the clothing items that can't have sockets could be fixed that would be even better). ![]()

About the attachment clothing things, if u had an uber suit for whatever ever prof, just adk it. No idiot who had really good attachments in his armor would go into battle without the modded pieces adk'ed so the same should be for tailors.
Armorsmiths get repeat business when ppl's armor hits 0so the same should be for us because we make very little money compared to them so we need some kind of perk.
Clothes cannot be ADK'd
