Thread: Items to ask the devs about: a growing list 5/7/04

I'd like to see:

--more colors (the leathers are atrocious)

--a skirt to match the metal bikini (and other schematics in general)

--MOST IMPORTANTLY:

The way the clothing fits. Often times, larger framed characters can't wear certain pieces of clothing without the clothing under it showing through. Females and males alike with large chests can't wear certain vests with shirts underneath, and certain jackets and robes can't be worn with skirts underneath because the top layer gets pixelated and messed up.

I'd really, really like to see these body mapping problems resolved so everyone can wear pieces of clothing without it getting messed up, regardless of their chest or bum size.

It is because the art only exists for the hat with one hairstyle (it is a hat where you can actually see the hair underneath),

What about the Chefs hat/bakers hat (can't remember which) that has a hair style, and you can still equip it.

thats BS i dont beleive u even said that about Decay, why do u care if clothing works at 0 or not i know your a tailor well i guess you are but whats the difference, some people not just me have spent A LOT of money on clothes putting skill mods in such on them.. My bandolier its self was over 25 million, and condition is hard to keep up considering i PvP everyday.. If you not happy with tailor and how clothes work at 0 than drop the profession? why kill someone else's stuff just because you arnt happy with it, Blah why would you even bring that up...

Clothes are not supposed to be wearable at 0 decay. This is a bug, and it should be fixed. Before you get your knickers in a twist, you can rest assured thatthe devswillinclude an option to 'remove clothing attatchment', to which I'm also sure they will designate as a 'tailor only' option, as it should be.

A couple of things from an ex tailor and a happy consumer.

The 'loin cloth/slave girl' skirt seen on Bothan NPCs

A colour pallete similar to the new ID one

I 'love' the idea of a secure interface where customers can indicate their colour/style choices before crafting.

A few more schematics in general, either lootable ones (from not too hard missions) or just more general ones

Belts we girls can wear which dont hover around our midrifs.

More choices for 'exotic' wear for us cantina rats.

Keep up the good work all you tailors out there

in THIS IMAGE the characters are all rendered from a 3D program such as Maya or 3DSM and is not a true model of an in game character. That needs to be considered when trying to argue that the artwork has been done for a human avatar. I would add some comments on what to bug the Dev's about but it seems Jessa is all over it like butter on toast =P

I DONT want to make the Jedi robe. I saw what they did to IDs and I dont want ANYTHING to do with the revamp. But a separete hooded cloak or duster. Or even new hats that dont look stupid. And of course that DANG SKIRT. Of course the necklace bug. Also WOOKIE CLOTHING that uses reinforced fiber panels. Did I miss anything?

n'jessi,

On page 1 of this tread, dated May 8th, you said they were working on an answer to our question #2 that week. Well, that was 10 days ago. Where is our answer?

Heh, they haven't even taken a bite of our juicey "top twenty" from over a month ago.All the tailoring community has been doing these past few months is compile list after list. Collect data. Comment on problems. The whole report NJ put together on our top 20 was perfection. Sheconstructed an easy-to-follow road map for the devs to follow, and even gift wrapped it. I seriously don't understand what the hold up is on their end, but I'll wager we'll see a "top 30" before they fix a minimum of three broken items from our top 20 list.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, regarding the necklace camera bug. If you drop one in a house, then /examine, the camera position is fine.

I built a display in my shop and was blown away when I examinedthe necklaceand had a nice large view of it. So now I have one of each on a manniquin.

well first of all I would like to say that neither of my characters are human so...ya.....

second...I don't know anything about grafics or all that junk...I was merily stating that there was a pic of a human in that skirt...a simple "they haven't actually worked on the actual games grafics for it" would have work
