My tailor on Starsider, however, can't scrape together more than 1k hide at a time and barely has enough to make basic outfits.Operation Get Hide for N'Jessi will soon be underway...
Seriously - I've spent the last two days pounding banthas into throw rugs with my alt
There was a peko peko albatross outside of my shop last night (which isn't unusual) and all I could think of is how much hide I could get if I just had a group to hunt it!

My tailor on Starsider,How many tailors do you have?
Currently 3. Scylla, TestCenter and Starsider, in order of mastery, Starsider being a very recent thing. I started my TC tailor before I even had an inkling that I would become corr, so although correspondents get free mastery of their professions on TC for testing, that only really helped me for the final 4 boxes since I was mostly done with my tailor grinding when I became corr.
This doesn't count that time I ground out tailor in JTL beta (in the span of like 2 days) because I knew that Ithorians were getting new wearables, the blue frogs didn't give skills, and I absolutely needed to test the new Ithorian wearables. The day after I mastered tailor, the devs granted profession skills on the blue frogs. /cry
As for any non-tailor/non-ID alts - well those are viciously guarded secrets! A girl needs her privacy

By the time I get home, you will be logging off...
I'll leave it in one of my storehouses for you then, and put you on admin.
Silly timezones.

How do these work? I didn't quite understand it. I'm canceling my tailor account for now(I plan to open my extra slot and make a new tailor) and would love to consolidate my hides into large stacks. So if I put wooly hide init will lose the type of hide it is and will become generic hide?

Not to break the seriousness of a very busy thread,
but is it deliberate that they look like toilets.
hehe

Hmmm... well they don't look quite like toilets, but if you put a white marble end table behind them, I can definitely see it coming together - I guess it depends how large they are when dropped in teh home.
The home show that features the first toilet will be amusing...

As of yet we aren't sure how "far" a resource can be, or will be, broken down, and whether you can change your settings. So I'm not sure if you'd break down Tatooine wooly --> nondescript "wooly hide" or to just "hide".
I feel if it breaks down to a lower level of "hide" and "metal (ferrous or nonferrous)" it would be useful for the following:
- All stacks of metal that aren't steel or copper, or odds and ends of steel and copper stacks.
- All leathery and scaley hides
- All lubricating oil into "inert petro"
If it can be broken down higher (i.e. mythra copper --> Copper) then I feel like we would use it for almost everything!

Here's a thought,
Can I throw in all those single HD Leathers and come out with "identicals" for mass producing aprons??????

Anyone know what happens to the stats of the combined resources? I know we don't care much about stats, still....
Resources run through a recycler become generic resources of their type with all stats at 200. See one in action at Resource Recyclers: a Smelting Machine is born.
