Thread: Publish 17 Check your crated clothes
I'm on Radiant.
It might just be my computer...
My dancer has the "too far away" bug, too....every bug that hits the game, I seem to get.

Oh well, I made a lot of these clothes over a year ago when I first got master, I guess it's good for me to wipe out my inventory and start over again.
Oh yeah my emerald necklaces that I made red, and renamed "Ruby necklace"
All white now. ![]()

With the large palette being numbered 1-255 I don't suppose you could tell me the three numbers of the colours you tried above? Then I can try to reproduce it exactly.
If not, then not to worry
Bah, this is an annoying one
Well I was able to reproduce it. I might not have seen it because the only clothes I usually make in factories is boring black BE clothing. I tried other colors and I see the problem now. Clothes seem to mostly be going back to their default colors when you pull them from crates, only sometimes it chooses random colors instead. Very weird...

I don't know if i specified...these were all clothes I made way before the CU. Opening them now, I have the color difference.
The crates I've made since then don't seem to have this problem...
Each factory schematic was for 2 items, and all colour numbers are basically going 1-255 running left to right, top to bottom. Firstly I made Revealing Fleshwraps (as we knew there was a problem with them) then I made Simple Shirts. The bug seems to be on the palette rather than the item but I will need to do more testing to be sure.
Red (254), Royal Blue (245) and Purple (253) all became Gold (I believe its 229) when the items was removed from the crate.
Burgundy (113) became a light blue-purple (possibly 197) when removed.
Baby Blue (155) became Light Orange (219).
But Pink (213) stayed Pink (213)! Hurrah!
Right, back to the factory....
Gold (229), Lt Orange (219), Lt Blue (239) and the Lt Blue-Purple (197) are all staying the right colour when pulled from crates, as is Lt Grey (2).
Deep Red (175), however, has become Lt Blue (239)
Forest Green (238) is staying Forest Green.
If I get bored tomorrow I might start at colour 1 and work to colour 255 to see exactly which ones are bugged.

Shorts are suffering the same colour changes as the fleshwraps and shirts so I'm now convinced its a palette bug on the single palette items (not tried the double palette items, got that fun to come!)

Its happening with double palette clothing too. I had problems with formfitting undershirts and thin striped pants. The weird thing is that I made one set of undershirts (all bright red) with regular cloth and they turned out gray with mustard stain yellow sleeves. I then tried with BE cloth and it was all gray.
I wish I could go to fan fest so I could poke some devs with a pointy stick!
Wow at this point all I can think is how greatful I am I make it all by hand.
There are some mean bugs crawling from dark places looking for crafters to bite lately. ![]()

Yea. Thats why I hadn't noticed. I basically only make black BE clothing in a factory and that doesn't seem to be affected.

*cries* Now Im really afraid to see whats in the over 100 crates of clothing that I had stored up.
Keep them stored unless you have to for now. Its very possible that it is reading the color information wrong out of the factory crates and producing clothes with the wrong color. Once they are pulled there is not much that can be done but as long as they stay in the crates they should be fine.
