Thread: More Info: Little Problems with Specific Clothes
I'd like to throw in a request for "opera gloves" - y'know, those mid-arm length formal women's gloves. Something along the line of a combination between the tipless glove and the forearm piece from the sports wrap.
Would go GREAT with those sleeve-less gowns.
A lot of the jackets have clipping issues with busty female avatars.
Cold weather jacket with dress shirt underneath has a gap in the right front shoulder of the jacket skin through which you can see the shirt.
Bangles equipped with long-sleeved shirts or jackets clip through. I sort of like the effect, though -- it looks a little like piping.
Jackets and shirts dropped in a house don't layer together well. The same goes for boots and pants.
There are two tiny holes in the fabric of frocks, in the torso area.
Busty women's you know what's stick out of the front of the leotards that have filmy material over them, can't remember what they're called offhand

Rugged Jacket: There's something screwy with this schematic. I suspect the reason is that (IIRC), Rugged Jacket used to be a Domestic Arts IV schematic in Beta. I get *tons* of experimentation slots for these, compared to only two for other items. And a pretty huge percentage of these come out socketed for me, compared to hardly any for other items.
For all I know, they might even be giving out GCXP instead of Tailoring XP, though I figure someone would have noticed that by now if it were so.

Long Uniform Gloves work for these. They're elbow length and can take any color. Last week of beta I sold at least 200 of them in assorted colors to dancers, and not a single pair to anyone wearing anything close to a "uniform" ![]()
Somewhere on the items fix list please include Tech Packs. They're mapped wrong and the sides bind to your elbows, so they stretch when you move. Holding a weapon it's twice as wide as normal, and standing still with your arms at your sides the bottom shrinks up until it looks like a toilet paper holder. Not quite sure how this works, but I've seen some large wookies wear them without this problem, and seen it happen on just about every other race.
Also at least ask them a question about shoes. The more I compare sneakers to casual shoes, the more I'm convinced they reversed them. It would make more sense that the shoes that actually have laces be called sneakers and be the higher schematic instead of the blob of material that's currently there.
KazeyW - Thanks, haven't gotten up the Field Gear line yet, didn't know about the uniform gloves. That helps!
The Luxurious Gown has the same problem with its color pallette as the Light Bustier - or at least close. Color choice #1 is white or white. Color choice #2 only changes the color of the "top" of the dress, no options to change the lacey portions. And anything other than Black looks awful.
Doctors dresses.
I made ten doctor dresses today trying to get sockets and had no luck at all getting sockets in it. I'm a master tailor so it's not just lack of skill.
Long uniform gloves don't go well with uniforms, they keep poking through anything with long sleeves.
The tech pack warping issue seems restricted to female toons.
Belts don't seem to fit right....They are about twice the circumference of my female tailors waist. Looks more like she is wearing a hula-hoop.
