The sad news is that n'jessi is stepping down, but the good news is that she remains with us. She is not leaving the game, nor leaving the forums. In fact, she is offering to help out as needed when the poor soul comes to try and follow such an amazing act!!
The tailoring community is one of the best. We rarely lose our cool, and are very supportive of each other. This alone will make the next correspondent's job a bit easier to deal with. Gosh, poor SonGouki when he came into the jedi office. He had major changes and bugs right in his face when he stepped in, as well as a community that has never been patient for answers, and hostility from other forums. In comparison, it's going to be alot easier for n'jessi to pass the torch.
But I found her to be so well organized and on top of things. She was fast like ninja and a great correspondent. It's going to be sad to see her step down.

You are, by far, the most organized, helpful, and fun correspondent I've come across, n'Jessi. Thank you for all of your incredibly hard work and effort.

Like many others here, I thought "Whatwhatwhat?! Oh no... Why?" when I first glanced over this thread's title in the Tailor Forum. Having read the message, I can certainly understand.
It is not as I feared, the l33t d00ds and Comp clones have not tipped her scale after all and she's not quitting SWG all together because she's had it... /sigh
I'm relatively new to SWG, as I started 2 months ago. Immediately I got hooked on the Tailor profession. Being a man, some people think it's a little odd at least, but somehow creating clothing and accesoiries in all sorts of stylings very appealing and satisfying.
The intelligent, supportive Tailor Forum and NJ'sgreat contributions here, as well as her own terrific site, swgtailor.com, have helped, even motivated, me a great deal as a starting Tailor.
All I could think of when trying to respond to this message was how best to say "Thank You" in a big, appreciative way.
So, without further ado:
/mood respectful
/say n'Jessi, Thank You for your efforts, contributions and inspirational presence
/mood sad
/deepformalbow
/showrespect
/showgratitude
/showappreciation
/mood respectful
/stand

/completetrade

/handkiss
*walks away and lines up with other Fencer-Tailors, forming an honorary guard*

/salute

If only the l33t d00ds and other brutes were even half the people that the you are, n'Jessi.
In my book, you are a real Jedi.
I wish youwell on your journey, wherever you take it.

What else can I say? You're the best, and I am sad to see you go. You've done a fantastic job. You and the regular posters helped me immensely when I began the profession. Thank you for everything!

Gah, so very sorry to see you go.
I'm really glad to hear that you plan on sticking around and I hope that we continue to see you often! There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said, so I'll just say thank you for all of your hard work and for being here for the community!

Actually I was convinced to buy EQ2 over the weekend, but I've spent a total of 2 hours in-game there. I would only be persuaded to jump ship if their clothing selection pwns ours.
Which it does not.

When my son and daughter-in-law come over for dinner tonight, they are going to install EQ2 on my computers, log in and let me watch them play for a while. And maybe I will "borrow" one of their char slots. To piddle around and see... but I don't think so. I didn't like EQ, I don't see me liking EQ2 either. My other son put WoW beta on my PC too. So he could see what it looks like with the graphics turned all the way up. Not so I could play a Night Elf. Tsk tsk those dances.
Like NJ, I'm sticking here, although probably way more laid back, casual... setting all micro-managing tasks to minimum. Hey... that sounds like Blue Glowie Island. Almost.
