No I don't get to see the colors yet (if you glance at my signature my tree levels are up to date)

I'm expecting to get formal 4 today then crank up experimentation the next couple of days.. hopefuly I will be master soon.

Vandessa,

I was wondering about the possibility of new colors at lower levels because of this post below. It says she is on Chilastra but I thought maybe she had a test center Tailor also. Looks like Master does get them all. I logged onto Test and couldn't tell since they didn't add any additional Clothing Customization mods onto the skill tree. I expected to see Clothing Customization +55 listed for the Master box. I can't wait to see this on live, I've missed those colors!

Actually, if you read Vass's post, it states that Tailoring EXPERIMENTATION has been changed and that new colors were added at the Master Level.

Well, I interpret that to mean that you get the new colors at Tailoring 4, not Master Tailoring.

Anyone on test able to corroborate this theory?

Oh, I see where you're coming from, though I completely disagree with your interpretation. Either way, Vandessa doesn't have Tailoring 4 and she is the highest tailor on TC that I'm aware of...

Well when I was a master tailor in beta for just a tiny sweet while the master box gave us +customization too, and we had the extra colors.

OK, this is going to sound really odd, but I swear to you that my tailor on Chilastra had more colours! I just went to check, and the customisation is at +20 for every Tailoring box again, with none at Master. Whereas before it had an extra +10 for each Tailoring box, and I think +15 for master. I had 3 oranges in one of my palettes where before I had had only 2.

I am not loopy, they definitely patched this to Chilastra at least, but now it's gone! (There are definitely strange things going on with Chilastra at the moment, we've lost all our PAs as well.)

I will now retire in confusion.

I guess maybe the theory is that they can do real "test bed" testing on their internal servers. E.g., to test the "tailoring 55 colors", just automagically create a Master Tailor character on the internal servers to try it out....

And Test Center is maybe more for testing things "as played." I.e., all the weird unanticipated stuff players will do, exploits they'll find, etc.

But additional colors do need some testing, if for no other reason than to make sure the palattes don't break in the interface. In addition, it's not a candidate for hot-fixing because it's not a game-breaking issue (neither is the T21, but I think they may have learned a lesson from that).

But some people would bitch if you hung them with a new rope.

As to petitioning to bumping me up to master, I wouldn't bother. By the time they noticed the petition I would be master anyway (I just have experimentation 3 & 4 and then I'm there!)

To the idea that colors are being added to the lower ranked experimentation entries: From what I've observed, there has been no color change, I've been comparing what I have now to my older screenshots and still nothing new.

I hope by the end of Tuesday I will be a master tailor.. cross yer fingers!
