I dont personally get many requests for 4-socketed clothing ... plus I find experimenting interesting

2. No

Having to find uber resources (and probably grind through a combat to stay alive on higher level planets) would raise the cost of clothing. Plus not having to worry about quality was a major reason I became tailor in the first place.

Question 1: Do you want to see experimentation added for Tailors?

  • D: Both. I want to be able to experiment on both sockets and condition.

I think this would be a great addition to tailor. What is the point of haiving experimentation if you cant use it?

Question 2: If experimentation were implemented in any form, should it require high quality resources?

  • Yes

Better resources, the higher condition and sockets you roll out.

Also, experimentating is a lot better than the system we have now for tryin to get 4 sockets. I waste so many resources and tissue to get 4 sockets for my customers. This will allow me to get the best resources and not worry about wasting the rest of my tissue and resoruces attempting to roll out 4 sockets.

Moved the end date one day earlier, hope nobody minds. I just want to be sure to have time before the top 5.

Keep the votes coming.

A.

I agree with NJ. With a profession with pretty much makes most of their items by hand, having to experiment on every single one before putting it on a vendor would increase production time tremendously and make it ever harder to restock your Clothing Vendors because it would be more time consuming.

No.

Someone's gotta use the crappy resources that spawn on a server for uses other than grinding. It's such a relief to be able to have a crafting profession without having to worry about the pain of high quality resources. Clothing isnt exactly a high price item. I imagine ifeveryone had to start getting the insanely high quality stuff, it would cause clothing prices to go up on the servers to compensate for the newly added cost of production.

Thank you for all of your votes. This poll is now closed. (You may discuss the results here if you wish, though. )

My votes were:

1. A

2. No

Here are the results:

1. Do you want to see experimentation added for Tailors?

  • A: No. I don't want experimentation on anything. (20 votes, 61%)

  • B: Sockets only. I want to be able to experiment on an item to increase the number of sockets it will receive. (11 votes, 33%)

  • D: Both. I want to be able to experiment on both sockets and condition. (2 votes, 6%)

  • C: Conditon only. I want to be able to experiment on an item to give it a higher condition. (0 votes, 0%)

2. If experimentation were implemented in any form, should it require high quality resources?

  • No (29 votes, 88%)

  • Yes (4 votes, 12%)

It is quite obvious that, overall, Tailors do not want experimentation, but feel that the current rate of socketing is inadequate. Most feel that Tailor is a "casual" crafting profession, and enjoy the fact that it does not require us to get the "best" resources and experimentation results in order to sell our products.
